Penny Carpenter

We are honored to feature Sister Penny Carpenter in Episode 59 of The Pillar Diaries! From a broken, stressful home in small‑town Tennessee, Penny testifies of a praying mother who “put the fear of God” in her and planted a hunger that eventually led her as a young teenager to an apostolic church, where she was filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and baptized in Jesus’ name according to Acts 2:38. In this episode she shares how the Holy Ghost became her teacher, how God has used seasons of “breaking” as strength training to shape her into a vessel He can flow through, and why true ministry is about servanthood, submission, and reaching hungry hearts—especially through Bible studies and the “golden opportunity” of raising children to fear the Lord.

PILLAR DIARIES CONFERENCE

The Pillar Diaries Conference is an annual gathering created to bring the heart of The Pillar Diaries into a shared, in-person space. Each year, women from across the Apostolic Pentecostal community come together for a time of worship, encouragement, and testimony, centered on faith, faithfulness, and the stories God is still writing. More than just an event, the conference is a place to pause, be refreshed, and be reminded that steady obedience and quiet perseverance matter. Through powerful testimonies, meaningful connection, and moments of reflection, the conference exists to honor the women who serve, strengthen those in every season of life and ministry, and leave attendees encouraged to continue standing strong as pillars in their homes, churches, and communities.
